The Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc is an annual event in Chamonix composed of 8 races where the trail running elite gather for a week of madness with the 180km and 10.000m D+ UTMB race, one of the world’s most prestigious trail running races.

Here are some pictures of several races including the insane PTL race with almost 300km and 25.000m od D+. To cover this event, I hiked and run with the gear for over 100km during the week with additional kilometers on the bike and in public transportations to limit the impact on covering these events.
