Cycling

I cover cycling in all its forms: downhill, enduro and cross-country mountain biking, road cycling, gravel and ultra-distance. Covering a race takes real preparation: scouting the spots, knowing who rides where and when, carrying the gear over rough terrain and moving from one viewpoint to the next, through mud and dust.

In mountain biking, I have photographed the UCI Downhill World Cup in Lourdes in 2022 and Loudenvielle in 2023, the World Championships in Les Gets in 2022, in downhill and in cross-country, and the Enduro World Series in Olargues in 2018 and Loudenvielle in 2022.

In ultra-cycling, I follow the Race Across France: in 2024 from Lille to Mandelieu-la-Napoule via the Massif Central, the Basque Country, the Pyrenees, Mont Ventoux and the Verdon Gorge, and in 2023 on the 300 km race. In 2024 I also covered the Race Across Belgium, on road and gravel, over the Koppenberg, the Muur van Geraardsbergen and the Paterberg.
