Takoon is a French water sports brand that designs wing foil, kitesurf and parawing wings. For the launch of its new Cloud parawing, the brand needed images that could show the product in action on the water and feed its online communication.
The assignment produced a series of aerial drone photographs, skimming the surface of the water to follow the rider and the wing throughout the sessions, along with three Instagram reels featuring the VXPro wing and other models in the range. This kind of shooting takes a lot of anticipation: the rider is fast and constantly changing direction, so framing and composition happen on the move, with wind and spray, to deliver images that work both as photos and as video.
The UCI Downhill World Cup and World Championships are raced on a single track. The event starts with scouting and the track walk, continues with training and qualifying, and ends with the race, where athletes get a single run to descend as fast as possible without leaving the course.
These images come from the World Cup in Lourdes in 2022, Loudenvielle in 2023 and the World Championships in Les Gets in 2022. This kind of coverage demands rigorous preparation: checking the spots, planning the runs to know who is riding, where and when, then carrying all the equipment across committing terrain, through mud and dust.
Located in France, the Fontainebleau forest, "Bleau" to the locals, is one of the oldest and most iconic bouldering destinations in the world. Its sandstone boulders offer more than 15,000 problems, for climbers of every level.
This reportage follows Hugo Chafiotte, a local climber, at this exceptional climbing spot. A Paris-based designer, he spends most of his free time climbing at Bleau, when he is not on his bike or ski touring in the Alps. The aim was to document his climbing from boulder to boulder and capture the atmosphere of the forest.
Soofût is a company that washes, rents and transports kegs. Based in six French cities (Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon and Marseille), it fights single-use plastic kegs by giving local producers easy access to reusable stainless steel kegs. Soofût is a social and solidarity economy company with ESUS accreditation: through its activities, it supports the social and professional integration of people far from employment or living with a disability.
The assignment was carried out through OGAF, a graphic design and communication studio based in Nantes, at three of the six sites: Toulouse, Lyon and Marseille. It resulted in photo and video content to promote Soofût's work on its website and social media.

The Race Across Belgium 2024 is an ultra-distance cycling event that celebrates the endurance and determination of its participants. Riders cross the Belgian landscape and take on iconic climbs such as the Koppenberg, the Muur van Geraardsbergen and the Paterberg, for a unique mix of physical challenge and discovery. Beyond the race, it is a moment of sharing within the cycling community, between riders, experienced staff and passionate volunteers.
The assignment covered video capture, on the ground and from the air, alongside Krynds (Keryan Sorton), who also handled the editing and colour grading. Five days following the riders along the route, bringing back from the field the material needed to tell the story of the event.

This edition links Lille to Mandelieu-la-Napoule by way of the Massif Central, the Basque Country, the Pyrenees, Mont Ventoux and the Gorges du Verdon, for a unique mix of physical challenge and landscapes. The adventure offers several distances (2,500, 1,000, 500 and 300 km) so that everyone can find their challenge and push their limits. Beyond the race, it is a moment of sharing within the cycling community, between riders, experienced staff and passionate volunteers.
The assignment covered photo and video, on the ground and from the air. Below is the daily content shot from day 4 to day 10, sent from the field to the editor and the community manager for daily publication on social media. All the photographs in this article were taken and edited by me.
The Enduro World Series (EWS) is a rally-style mountain bike competition. Athletes add up their times over technical descents split into stages. To reach each start, they pedal uphill against a time limit.
These images were taken at the French rounds in Olargues in 2018 and Loudenvielle in 2022. This kind of coverage relies on careful preparation: scouting the spots and planning to know who is riding, where and when. It also means carrying all the equipment over difficult terrain, lying in the mud and riding a mountain bike from one viewpoint to the next to save precious time.
UCI Cross-Country, an Olympic discipline, is a multi-lap race on a hilly course, punctuated by technical sections and obstacles. The physical intensity of the effort shows on the riders' faces.
This selection was shot at the World Championships in Les Gets, France, in 2022. This kind of coverage requires good knowledge of the course and real versatility: moving from spot to spot around the track, with all the equipment, on demanding terrain and in tough conditions, through mud and dust.

Set on the banks of the Sèvre, 12 km from the Puy du Fou and surrounded by hiking trails, this idyllic spot is perfect for resting as well as for walks, cycling and fishing. The assignment covered the images of the four holiday cottages and their surroundings, as well as the creation of the website. Everything was designed to convey the atmosphere of the place and make it easy for future visitors to discover.
Vanessa Roulon is a spatial designer and interior decorator. She helps her clients rethink their homes, whatever their project: interior restructuring, space optimisation, custom storage, decoration.
The shoot took place once the work was completed, to showcase the project and provide communication content worthy of the work carried out. The images are intended for social media, the website and brochures.

The coverage focused on the 300 km race, the finishes of riders from every distance in Mandelieu, and the activities organised for children. This kind of event means 48 hours of non-stop work, constantly moving from one point of the route to another to capture the performances and emotions of the riders.
The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc is one of the most prestigious trail races in the world. Every year in Chamonix, the elite of the sport gather for an extraordinary week. The event brings together eight races, including the famous UTMB with its 180 km and 10,000 m of elevation gain.
This selection brings together images from several races, including the PTL with its nearly 300 km and 25,000 m of elevation gain. Covering such an event meant more than 100 km on foot over the week, with the equipment on my back, plus kilometres by bike and public transport to reduce the impact of the coverage.
Hopaal is a French brand committed to the environment. Its clothes, made from recycled materials, are produced within 1,000 km of its design studio in Biarritz. A new production site in Saint-Jean-de-Luz brings that distance down to 20 km. To highlight this proximity, Hopaal organised a social run, the equivalent of a half marathon along the coast, from the design studio to the new facilities. At the finish, co-founder and CEO Clément gave a tour of the site and explained the different stages of production.
This photo reportage captures this moment of sharing between the people behind the brand and its community. The 30 km it took were covered independently, alternating running and cycling, with all the equipment on my back.
Snowleader organised a two-day ski touring trip in the Swiss Alps for its most loyal customers, with a bivouac and fondue. The event was supported by Zag for the skis and Samaya for the tents, and led by high mountain guides. After the climb and the search for a safe spot to set up camp, the group dug paths, built snow benches and stamped out tent platforms, before sharing a fondue under the full moon with fellow mountain lovers.
This photo reportage documents the whole trip, from the climb to the bivouac. This kind of assignment means skinning up and skiing down with the camera gear, on top of the safety equipment, food and camping gear in the backpack.
Sport & Plein Air is the magazine of the FSGT (Fédération Sportive et Gymnique du Travail). Its issue 683 looks back at the inter-club gathering held every year at the Les Allouviers campsite in Freissinières (Hautes-Alpes), near Briançon. Over a month and a half, several hundred people come and go to share their passion for the mountains, from mountaineering to canyoning and climbing, in the Écrins massif.
The commission covered the cover image and the main article of this issue. The photographs were taken while taking part in the outings, as close as possible to the participants, climbing, canyoning and mountaineering.
Aerial photography opens up perspectives that are out of reach from the ground, for artistic work as well as technical needs: showcasing a site, a product or an event, monitoring construction, inspecting structures.
